This second part of the SIMATIC STEP 7 Programming training, conducted via the Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) engineering platform, introduces you to the more detailed use of TIA Portal alongside STEP 7, SIMATIC S7, HMI connectivity, and PROFINET IO.
You will expand your knowledge on complex operations and be introduced to advanced programming languages, including Statement List (STL), Structured Control Language (SCL), and S7-GRAPH. In addition to analog value processing and data management with complex data types, we will cover the evaluation and handling of program-related errors. Furthermore, you will learn the basics of displaying and managing messages in operator control and monitoring systems (HMI).
You can deepen your theoretical knowledge through numerous practical exercises on a dedicated TIA system model. This system comprises a SIMATIC S7-1500 automation system, ET 200SP distributed I/O, and a KTP700 Basic Touch Panel.
